Our very first FiB LIVE couldn’t have begun with a braver film.

We’re shining a spotlight on uncompromising independent filmmaking through the team behind "The Hanged Man." We explored how this self-funded feature came to life through creative risk, trust, and “film sincerity.” What happens when you let the setting dictate the shot? What does it really mean to make a film without storyboards, without outside money, and without guarantees? How do you create emotionally safe spaces while telling uncomfortable stories? And what does radical intimacy on screen demand from everyone behind the camera?
